RedMagic has launched the Astra 2, a gaming tablet designed to occupy a middle ground between smartphones and full-sized tablets. The device aims to provide an immersive experience through a balance of screen size and ergonomic comfort.

Available for purchase in Italy as of August 26, 2026, the tablet features a 9.06-inch 2.4K OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, with options for 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage.

To manage heat during intense gaming, the device utilizes the AquaCore Cooling System 2.0, which includes Liquid Metal 3.0 and a 4D vapor chamber. The tablet is equipped with an 8300 mAh battery supporting 75 W fast charging and runs on REDMAGIC OS 11.5 based on Android 16.
