RedMagic to launch 12 Pro+ gaming smartphone on October 15

RedMagic has confirmed that its upcoming flagship gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 12 Pro+, will be officially unveiled on October 15, 2026. The launch event is scheduled to take place in China at 14:30 local time.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset from Qualcomm. RedMagic stated it has implemented a proprietary “first-class tuning” process to optimize the chip, aiming to enhance overall performance and graphical quality for gaming.

In terms of design, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is expected to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, featuring more rounded edges to improve ergonomics. The company also noted that the side shoulder triggers will adopt a more rounded shape. Additionally, the smartphone will feature an ultra-slim display with bezels measuring less than 1 mm on all four sides.
