Xiaomi, Oppo, and Poco announce new smartphone launches
Several major smartphone manufacturers are preparing for significant product launches. Xiaomi is developing the 18 Fold, a foldable flagship expected in 2026 that will feature the proprietary XRING O3 3nm processor and LPDDR6 memory supplied by CXMT. Additionally, Xiaomi is expanding its budget lineup with the Redmi 17C 5G and the Redmi 17 5G, the latter of which is set to launch in India on September 3 with a 7,900mAh battery and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
Poco is also targeting the Indian market with the launch of the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power on September 4. These devices focus on extreme battery life, with the X8 Power featuring a 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging support.
In the high-end segment, Oppo is preparing the Find X10 series. Leaks suggest the Find X10 Pro Max may feature a triple 200MP camera system, including a main sensor using Samsung’s ISOCELL HPC technology. The series is expected to debut in China in September, with global and Indian releases following in late October or early November.
