Redmi K100 to launch in China with 10,000mAh battery

Xiaomi has confirmed the official launch of the Redmi K100 smartphone in China, scheduled for October 27 at 7 PM local time. The device is positioned as a high-performance model that brings flagship-level features to the standard K-series for the first time.

Key technical specifications include the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with a dedicated D2 gaming chip to handle hardware-based upscaling and frame generation. The phone is expected to feature a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 100W fast charging, and a 6.83-inch or 6.9-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 165Hz or 185Hz.

Other notable features include Bose-tuned dual speakers, a metal frame, and a new ‘Firefly Green’ color option. The device will run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 4. Alongside the smartphone, Redmi is expected to introduce the Clip Neo, a new line of open-ear clip-style headphones.
