Xiaomi launches Redmi Band 4 smart band in China
Xiaomi has officially released the Redmi Band 4 in the Chinese market, succeeding the Redmi Band 3. The budget-friendly fitness tracker features a 1.47-inch TFT LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 2.5D curved glass.
Key hardware updates include a unibody design with a metallic-textured frame and a redesigned silicone strap with a vertical texture and improved pin-style clasp for better stability during exercise. The device weighs approximately 18 grams without the strap.
The battery life has been extended to up to 21 days under light usage, compared to 18 days on the previous model. With continuous health monitoring enabled, the battery lasts approximately 8 days. The device supports 50 sports modes and carries a 5ATM water resistance rating.
Health tracking capabilities include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) levels, stress tracking, sleep monitoring, and women’s health management. While the device supports QR code payments via WeChat and Alipay in China, it lacks NFC functionality.
