Xiaomi to Launch Redmi Note 17 Series on July 14 with 7‑inch OLED and Up to 9,000 mAh Battery

Xiaomi will unveil its Redmi Note 17 series in China on 14 July. The standard Note 17 will feature a 7‑inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 1,200 nits brightness and eye‑protection technology. It will be powered by an 8,000 mAh battery, support 45 W wired fast charging and 22.5 W reverse charging, and include enhanced drop‑resistance and water‑dust protection (IP66/68/69/69K).

The Redmi Note 17 Pro variant upgrades to a 9,000 mAh battery, 67 W fast charging, 22.5 W reverse charging, a 1.5K OLED panel with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the same IP ratings. Both models run Snapdragon 6‑series processors (Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 for the Pro, Snapdragon 6 s Gen 4 for the standard) and receive a five‑year battery‑replacement guarantee. Additional features include location, health‑data, album and cloud‑space sharing for family assistance, stereo speakers, and a new “Meteor Purple” colour option.
