Multiple leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station indicate that Xiaomi’s Redmi sub‑brand plans to introduce the Redmi Turbo 6 Max in China around January 2027. The device is expected to feature a 7‑inch flat 2K display, an ultrasonically‑sensed in‑display fingerprint scanner, a metal mid‑frame and IP68/IP69 dust‑ and water‑resistance.

The performance side is reported to rely on a MediaTek Dimensity 9‑series chipset built on a 3 nm process, positioning the phone as a high‑end offering for gamers and power users. Battery capacity figures vary across reports, with some leaks citing a massive 10,000 mAh cell and others an 8,000 mAh unit, both among the largest seen on mainstream Redmi devices. Fast‑charging technology is expected to accompany the large battery.

Internationally the model could be marketed under the Poco X9 Pro Max name, and it is anticipated to compete directly with the OnePlus Turbo 7, which is rumored to use a Snapdragon 8‑series processor.
