RedOctane Games announces Stage Tour for Nintendo Switch 2

RedOctane Games has announced that its rhythm-action title, Stage Tour, is scheduled for release this December on Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by a team including veterans from the Guitar Hero and DJ Hero franchises, the game aims to revitalize the rhythm genre through a fantasy of forming a band and becoming a rockstar.

Key features include a launch soundtrack of over 90 licensed songs from artists such as Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Olivia Rodrigo, and blink-182. The gameplay supports various inputs, including specialized guitar, drum, and microphone controllers, as well as standard gamepads and keyboards. Players can engage in 4-lane or 5-lane arcade modes across multiple difficulty levels and explore a roguelite Tour Mode. The game also features over 180 collectible in-game guitars from brands like Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer.
