Stage Tour rhythm game set to launch December 10, 2026

RedOctane Games has announced Stage Tour, a rhythm game positioned as a spiritual successor to the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises. The title is scheduled for release on December 10, 2026, across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

At launch, the game will feature a massive setlist of over 90 licensed songs spanning six decades of music, including tracks from artists such as Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, and Mötley Crüe. Players can choose from over 50 bandmates and unlock more than 180 authentic virtual guitars from brands like Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer.

To support the experience, a partnership with Gibson and CRKD will provide physical hardware, including specialized guitar controllers, drum kits, and microphones. Notable hardware includes the 8K Gibson Explorer 20th Anniversary Edition, which features high-speed polling rates and mechanical frets. The game will support local multiplayer for up to four players, cross-platform online co-op, and a roguelite-inspired single-player experience called Tour Mode.
