Redondela hosts second exhibition of architectural scale models

The municipality of Redondela is launching the second edition of the scale model exhibition ‘A nosa pequena vila’ (Our Little Town). Created by local artisan Gene Muíños Reboredo, the exhibition features more than 100 highly detailed miniature reproductions of the town's emblematic buildings.

Constructed at a scale of 1.5:100, the models include intricate details such as urban furniture and sculptures, providing a precise visual tour of the municipality's architectural heritage. This edition follows a successful first showing in August 2023 and includes several previously unseen pieces.

The exhibition will open on August 13 at 20:00 at the Multiusos da Xunqueira and will remain on display until September 15. Mayor Digna Rivas described the collection as a tribute to the town's identity and a way for residents and visitors to rediscover Redondela through a meticulous new perspective.
