Redondela libraries receive María Moliner Award

The municipal library network of Redondela has been awarded the María Moliner Award by the Ministry of Culture for the quality of its services and its efforts to promote reading. The recognition highlights the libraries' ability to integrate diverse groups, foster reading clubs, and collaborate with local educational centers and social associations.

The award includes a grant of 2,777 euros, which will be used to expand the available book collections for the public. Mayor Digna Rivas and Culture Councilor Rita Pérez visited the Valle-Inclán Municipal Library to congratulate the technical staff and users, noting that the prize validates a public cultural model that is accessible and inclusive for all community members.
