RedotPay completes audits amid plans for US IPO
Hong Kong-based fintech company RedotPay has completed a financial audit and a separate review of its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing controls. These audits, conducted by unidentified Big Four firms, are part of the company’s preparations for a potential initial public offering (IPO) in the United States.
RedotPay, which specializes in stablecoin-powered payments and Visa-linked cards, reported 8.5 million users as of mid-2026. The company has achieved unicorn status following investments from Coinbase Ventures and Circle Ventures, with annualized payment volumes estimated between $10 billion and $12 billion.
While the company continues to pursue its US listing, the timeline has faced delays due to regulatory approvals and ongoing litigation. Specifically, RedotPay is defending against a $473 million lawsuit from entities affiliated with Binance regarding allegations of user poaching, a claim RedotPay describes as baseless. Although an earlier listing was anticipated for 2026, current projections suggest the IPO may occur in 2027 or later.
