RedotPay considers confidential US IPO filing by year-end
Hong Kong-based stablecoin payments company RedotPay is reportedly considering a confidential filing for a US initial public offering by the end of 2026. The company is also in discussions with investors regarding a potential pre-IPO funding round that could value the firm between $4 billion and $5 billion.
RedotPay, which was founded in 2023, reports having over 8 million to 9 million users. The company has seen significant financial growth, with annual revenue reportedly climbing from $100 million to over $180 million.
These potential listing plans follow previous reports that the IPO had been delayed due to regulatory hurdles and legal disputes. Specifically, Binance-affiliated companies have filed lawsuits against RedotPay's founders seeking nearly $473 million in damages, alleging the use of confidential information to build a competing business. RedotPay has denied these allegations and stated it will vigorously defend all claims.
