Redruth RFC targets improved away form for new season

Redruth director of rugby Richie Kevern has identified improved away form as the primary requirement for the club to climb the table during the 2026/27 National League Two (West) season.

Following a tenth-place finish last season, where the team secured nine home wins but struggled on the road with only one away victory and one draw, Kevern aims to increase the squad's clinical efficiency. To support this goal, the club has recruited former Cornwall and Launceston centre Ryan Westren as the new backs coach.

Regarding squad changes, Redruth has retained most of its roster, though prop Luke Barnes has departed for neighbours Camborne. The club has welcomed five new faces, including the return of prop Beau Danks and second-row Todd Prisk, alongside the arrival of centre Connor Gilbert.
