Redwood City and Vashon Island Summer Concerts Announced

A free outdoor concert by the Steely Dan tribute band Aja Vu is scheduled for August 7, 2026, at Redwood City’s Music on the Square series, featuring a two‑hour set from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 2200 Broadway. Attendees can bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy nearby dining options.

The Vashon Park District in Washington will host five free Thursday‑night concerts this August in Ober Park, beginning with John Roberts Y Pan Blanco on August 6. Additional acts include Bowie/Rex & His Boogie Army, Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme, and High Step Society, each paired with youth performers from the “New Voices” program. The schedule also features a community printmaking event on August 9 at the Blue Heron parking lot and a chamber opera “Songs of Resilience” at the Vashon Center for the Arts on the same day.
