Reed Stark signs try‑out contract with German DEL2 club Blue Devils Weiden

The 26‑year‑old dual‑citizen forward Reed Stark has been offered a try‑out contract by DEL2 side Blue Devils Weiden that runs until the end of September. During the trial period he will be fully integrated into the club’s training and match schedule and can compete for a longer‑term deal.

Stark, born in the United States and also holding German citizenship, developed in North America, playing several seasons in the NAHL before four years at the University of Wisconsin‑Superior (NCAA Division III). In the 2024/25 college season he recorded 14 goals and nine assists in 25 games. He later appeared for the Utah Grizzlies, then spent the previous German season with Düsseldorfer EG and the Rostock Piranhas in the Oberliga Nord.

Blue Devils sport director Stephan Seeger Jr. said, “Reed will be with us until the end of September and will also play in games so he can show his abilities. After the try‑out we will decide on a possible further collaboration.”
