The NDR Talk Show will air a special episode this Friday at 10:00 PM to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. Hosted by Barbara Schöneberger and Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt, the program explores the cultural, economic, and social diversity of the famous St. Pauli district.
The episode features several guests sharing personal connections to the area. Author Heinz Strunk will reflect on the Reeperbahn’s role in his life and his novel ‘Der Goldene Handschuh’. Other participants include moderator Hugo Egon Balder, who performed in local music clubs, and author Eva Decker, a former director of the St. Pauli Museum.
