Reeperbahn and SWR3 New Pop festivals open in Germany

Major music festivals are currently underway in Germany. The 21st Reeperbahn Festival has opened in Hamburg, featuring a conference and musical performances. During the event, musician Jan Delay performed a free concert on a water container to support the Yunomi project, a mobile water purification initiative destined for Nairobi, Kenya.

Simultaneously, the SWR3 New Pop Festival is taking place in Baden-Baden from September 17 to 19, 2026. The festival opened with a homecoming concert by reggae artist Gentleman, followed by performances from Clueso and Charlotte Cardin. The lineup includes various artists such as Giant Rooks, Holly Humberstone, and Topic, with several free open-air performances and livestreams available to the public.
