Reese’s launches search for America’s best trick-or-treating street

Reese’s has launched a national campaign to identify the ‘Trick-or-Treatiest Street’ in America. After analyzing data regarding costume purchases, decorations, and community participation, the candy brand narrowed the search to 150 streets across the country.

A newly formed ‘Halloween Council,’ featuring actors Christina Ricci and Kathy Najimy alongside various creators, will evaluate the contenders. The winner, to be announced on October 21, 2026, will receive a Halloween block party hosted by Reese’s in partnership with Zillow.

In the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia region, specific neighborhoods have been highlighted for their trick-or-treating qualities. Notable locations include Old Town Alexandria for spooky atmospheres, Capitol Hill and East Capitol Street for full-size candy bars, and Rodgers Forge, Maryland, as a top choice for toddlers and young children.
