Refeno regatta start to mobilize Recife's nautical tourism

The 37th Recife-Fernando de Noronha International Regatta (Refeno) is set to begin this Saturday (19) at the Marco Zero in Recife. The event marks a significant moment for the city's nautical tourism, with the local marina operating at full capacity.

Local establishments, such as the Bargaço restaurant at Cais Santa Rita, are preparing for increased public interest. Due to the proximity to the Capibaribe River estuary and the Porto Novo Recife International Marina, businesses are adjusting schedules to accommodate spectators watching the vessels depart for the Fernando de Noronha archipelago. The official start of the regatta is scheduled for noon.
