Refik Lendo calls for unity at Bugojno units commemoration

Refik Lendo, Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended a formal academy in Bugojno to commemorate the Day of the Bugojno Units of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his speech, Lendo honored the fallen soldiers, veterans, and their families, highlighting the determination shown by the units in defending the city and the country.

Lendo emphasized that political and other differences must not supersede the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He warned against internal divisions that could jeopardize the sovereignty defended through collective sacrifice. Additionally, he addressed the glorification of war criminals, stating that mere condemnations are insufficient and that those who promote such figures should face political consequences. He concluded by stressing the responsibility of current generations to ensure the country is strong enough to protect its own freedom and security.
