Refik Lendo commemorates Šargan Brigade in Mostar

Refik Lendo, Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended a ceremony in Mostar to mark the formation day of the Šargan Independent Gatačka Brigade. The event included the promotion of a new monograph about the unit, authored by Sanel Idrizović.

During the ceremony, Lendo emphasized the importance of documenting the history of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He noted that the brigade members, including those from Gacko and eastern Herzegovina, demonstrated that the homeland must be defended across its entire territory. Lendo stated that the country owes the truth about its defense to those who lost their lives and to future generations.
