Reform UK proposes jail for CEOs hiring illegal migrants

Reform UK announced a plan to impose some of the toughest penalties worldwide on companies that employ illegal migrants. The party’s home‑affairs spokesman, Zia Yusuf, said senior executives could face prison terms and firms could be fined up to 10 % of their global revenue under a proposed “Deliveroo Law”. Yusuf linked the measure to high youth unemployment, stating, “There are over one million 16‑ to 24‑year‑old Brits who are out of work… they are competing for entry‑level jobs with record numbers of illegal workers.”

The proposal is part of a broader immigration‑enforcement agenda ahead of the next general election, including a pledge to deport “well north of a million people” while still encouraging tech companies such as Deliveroo to operate in the UK.
