Regan Hutsell crowned Miss America 2027

Regan Hutsell of Houston, Texas, has been crowned Miss America 2027. The competition took place on Sunday, September 6, in West Palm Beach, Florida, where Hutsell emerged as the winner among 52 contestants representing various states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.

Hutsell, who previously competed as Miss Texas, has a background in professional dance. She is a former Radio City Rockette and a dancer with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, having joined the company in 2021.

Through her journey in the Miss America competition, Hutsell has earned nearly $90,000 in scholarships. She intends to use these funds to pursue a career as a physical therapist debt-free.
