Regata Off Valparaíso concludes 51st edition in Chile

The 51st edition of the Regata Off Valparaíso took place from October 16 to 18, hosted by the Yacht Club de Chile in Recreo. The event featured 51 vessels and approximately 400 sailors competing across seven distinct categories, including IRC Regata, IRC Crucero, IRC Clásicos, J105, and J/24 classes.

A notable highlight of this year's competition was the participation of naval academy delegations from Argentina, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Brazil. These delegations participated in the J/24 Escuelas Navales category, fostering international maritime exchange and institutional ties.

Key winners included the vessel ‘Tensacon’ in the IRC Regata category, ‘Rigel’ in IRC Crucero 1, and ‘Condestable’ from the Arturo Prat Naval School in the J/24 Escuelas Matrices category. The awards ceremony was led by Captain Juan Pablo Castro, Director of the Arturo Prat Naval School.
