Regatta sets record with 371-day world cruise

The Regatta, operated by Explorations by Norwegian, has departed from Rome to begin what is described as the world’s longest continuous scheduled cruise. The journey is set to last 371 days, visiting 220 ports across 62 countries and five continents.

This itinerary surpasses the previous record held by Royal Caribbean’s Ultimate World Cruise, which lasted 274 nights. The new voyage includes diverse destinations such as Santorini, Naples, Copenhagen, and Helsinki in Europe; Cape Verde, Cape Town, and Zanzibar in Africa; Hiroshima, Jeju Island, Colombo, and Malé in Asia; and regions ranging from Alaska to the Amazon in the Americas.

For travelers unable to commit to the full year-long voyage, shorter options are available, including a 19-night tour that covers Turkey, the Greek islands, and Malta.
