Regau police find intoxicated 14-year-old at bus stop

Police in Regau, Upper Austria, discovered two 14-year-olds lying on the ground at a bus stop on the night of October 31, 2026.

A breathalyzer test revealed that the boy, from the Linz-Land district, had a blood alcohol content of 1.4 per mille. His female companion, from the Vöcklabruck district, showed no signs of alcohol impairment but reported experiencing circulatory issues.

The teenagers reportedly consumed liqueurs at a friend's house after visiting an ice rink. Emergency services provided initial medical care to the boy, and both individuals were subsequently released to their legal guardians. The 14-year-old boy faces legal charges.
