Regent Seven Seas upgrades Explorer-Class ships with larger suites and fewer guests
Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced a redesign of its Explorer-Class vessels – Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur – scheduled for dry‑dock work in 2027 and 2028. The upgrades will reduce each ship’s suite inventory from 373 to 344, creating more space per guest. New and expanded Veranda Suites will measure 415‑464 sq ft, up from 307 sq ft, and feature walk‑in closets, double vanities and larger balconies. A new Horizon Penthouse Suite category, ranging from 616‑722 sq ft with oversized balconies, will debut on the Seven Seas Prestige ship. Additionally, three Distinctive Suites of 821‑918 sq ft will be added to each vessel. President Wesley D’Silva said the changes reflect the company’s “relentless pursuit of perfection” and its commitment to delivering an even more spacious ultra‑luxury experience.
The modifications aim to enhance guest comfort while maintaining the brand’s all‑inclusive service model, positioning Regent Seven Seas as a leader in the high‑end cruise market.
