Reggae artists E-Dee and Jahman enter Grammy consideration

Jamaican artist E-Dee and US Virgin Islands roots singer Jahman are among the artists being considered for the Best Reggae Album category at the 69th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

E-Dee, whose debut album ‘Young Legend’ reached No. 9 on the iTunes Reggae chart, produced his project through his independent label, Clarendon Records. The album features production by Qmillion and Jahsee, with collaborations from artists such as Ginjah and Irie Love.

Jahman is being considered for his album ‘Alive’, released in April via Splatter House Records. The 13-song project was partly recorded at Tuff Gong International Studio in Kingston and features an all-Jamaican cast of musicians. Jahman expressed elation regarding the recognition from The Recording Academy.
