Reggeborgh Invest proposes €5M donation for Greek military trauma center

The Greek Ministry of National Defence has received a €5,000,000 donation proposal from Reggeborgh Invest B.V. to establish a military trauma center in Athens. The project also includes a branch at the University Hospital of Balamand in Lebanon.

Development of the center will be conducted in collaboration with Harvard University and the trauma department of Massachusetts General Hospital, led by Dr. Georgios Velmachos. The facility is planned to operate within the 401 General Military Hospital in Athens to provide rapid diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment for emergency traumatic incidents.

The initiative aims to upgrade healthcare services for Greek Armed Forces personnel and their families while optimizing existing resources for the benefit of the broader National Health System.
