Reggia di Caserta announces free admission and new ticket office

The Royal Palace of Caserta (Reggia di Caserta) will offer free admission on October 4 as part of the ‘Domenica al Museo’ national initiative. Visitors will be able to access the Royal Apartments and the Royal Park, though certain sections including the Vanvitelli and Amelio Rooms, the Court Theater, the Grand Gallery, the English Garden, and the Graefer Greenhouses will remain closed.

To manage visitor flow, free tickets can be reserved online via TicketOne starting September 28, with a limit of five per account. A portion of tickets will also be available at the Piazza Carlo di Borbone ticket office starting at 8:30 AM on the day of the event. All visitors, including children aged two and older, must hold a timed entry ticket.

Additionally, a new ticket office at Corso Giannone will open on October 1 to improve accessibility for the local community and tourists. This expansion aims to encourage visitors to engage with the city center. The museum is also preparing the ‘ReggiaCard2027’ subscription program, offering various tiered pricing options for different age groups throughout 2027.
