Reggia di Venaria hosts modern art exhibition with works from Lyon

The Reggia di Venaria has unveiled “Atelier dei Moderni,” a major exhibition featuring approximately sixty works by 20th-century masters. Curated by Sylvie Ramond, the exhibition is a collaboration between the Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon.

Part of the “Reggia di Venaria in dialogue with France” cultural diplomacy program, the exhibition showcases artists including Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Francis Bacon, Raoul Dufy, and Fernand Léger. The collection aims to provide an original reading of modernity by analyzing various artistic movements and the connections between them. The exhibition is scheduled to run until February 14, 2027.
