Reggiana: Giuseppe Reggiani explores local consortium for club takeover

Giuseppe Reggiani, CEO of the industrial automation company Clevertech, is reportedly exploring a potential takeover of the Reggiana football club. Rather than a solo acquisition, Reggiani is interested in forming a consortium of local entrepreneurs to share the investment and management responsibilities.

The search for new ownership is being accelerated by the health difficulties facing current owner Romano Amadei. If a deal is reached, the current partners, Fico and Salerno, would depart the club. While the club's current finances are stable, new capital is required by the end of 2026 to ensure long-term sustainability.

Due to the necessary processes for recapitalization, any potential entry by the Reggiani family would likely not occur before November. Reggiani has expressed interest in the club through his advisor, Corrado Baldini, though he has also noted his long-standing role as a supporter and sponsor of local sports.
