Reggina sale talks delayed, preliminary agreement pushed to next week

Negotiations to sell the Italian football club Reggina appeared set to reach a price agreement, paving the way for a preliminary signing. However, unresolved clauses and other details have caused the deal to be postponed, with expectations now that the signing will occur next week rather than today.

President Matt Rizzetta used Instagram to respond to criticism, reaffirming his commitment to Reggina despite rumors of abandoning the club for other projects such as Campobasso. He urged supporters to judge his work based on past achievements and stressed his continued love for the club.

Reports also mentioned possible appointments of Domenico Fracchiolla as head coach and Pasquale Lo Giudice as sporting director, figures with experience in lower‑division football who could shape the club’s future if the sale proceeds.
