Reggina secures goalkeeper Lorenzo Piras following Fasano legal ruling

Reggina has cleared the bureaucratic hurdles to sign goalkeeper Lorenzo Piras. The move follows a decision by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (LND) to grant an official release for players previously registered with Fasano.

The legal resolution comes after the Federal Court of Appeal rejected a final appeal by Fasano regarding their failure to register for the Serie D championship. This ruling allows Piras, born in 2006, to join Reggina and bolster their goalkeeping department alongside Lagonigro and Madia.

Additionally, Giuseppe Verduci is leaving Reggina to join Nuova Igea Virtus following a mutual agreement for contract termination. These roster changes are part of manager Marchionni’s strategy to manage squad depth and refine the defensive lineup.
