Reggio Calabria approves 120,000 euros for municipal dog shelter

The administration of Reggio Calabria has approved a project to upgrade and maintain the municipal dog shelter located in the Mortara di Pellaro area. The city council has allocated 120,000 euros to fund the design and the necessary extraordinary maintenance required to bring the facility up to regulatory standards.

Mayor Francesco Cannizzaro stated that the decision addresses a long-standing issue, noting that the funds will be used for both the planning phase and the essential work to ensure the structure is compliant with current regulations.
