Reggio Calabria hosts cultural events at De Nava Library

The Pietro De Nava Library in Reggio Calabria will host two distinct cultural events. On November 3, the Centro Internazionale Scrittori della Calabria (CIS) and the library will present Paolo Praticò’s book, “Ho avuto un’infanzia bellissima e non lo sapevo.” The presentation will feature institutional greetings from Daniela Neri and coordination by Loreley Rosita Borruto, followed by critical readings from Gabriele Quattrone and Arturo Cafarelli.

On November 5, an interdisciplinary meeting will focus on Gino Zani and the historical and cultural connections between Reggio Calabria and the Republic of San Marino. The event explores Zani’s role in the reconstruction of Reggio Calabria following the 1908 earthquake and his subsequent urban and architectural work in San Marino. The initiative is organized by the Anassilaos Cultural Association and the Gino Zani Study Center, in collaboration with several local associations and the Gino Zani Engineering Institute of San Marino.
