Reggio Calabria hosts cultural festivals and association milestones

Reggio Calabria is hosting various cultural initiatives under the ReggioFest2026 umbrella. The Teatri di Pietra Lyric Festival recently concluded its local edition, featuring musical performances and social inclusion workshops. Key events included tenor Lorenzo Licitra performing at the Church of San Francesco and Rita Botto presenting a Mediterranean-inspired program at the Church of San Dionigi. The festival also integrated community-focused activities, such as urban dance workshops at Parco Ecolandia and sensory programs at the Arghillà health center.

Additionally, the cultural association ‘Le Muse’ is preparing for its 27th year of activity. To mark this new period and the upcoming 2026/2028 biennium, the association has unveiled a new logo designed by artist and former Muse Prize winner Regina Schrecker. The association plans to introduce a new leadership team and new research and communication directions for the region.
