Reggio Calabria hosts Mediterranean Trophy sailing regatta

The Mediterranean Trophy (1st Luca Attanasio Trophy) is scheduled to take place in Reggio Calabria on October 31 and November 1. The event focuses on 'classe altura' vessels, which are large sailing boats.

The regatta is organized through a collaboration between Circolo Velico Reggio and the Lega Navale Italiana (Reggio Calabria section), under the auspices of the Italian Sailing Federation. It features participation from crews across Southern Italy and from both sides of the Strait, fostering sporting synergy between Reggio Calabria and Messina.

Institutional support for the event includes the Municipality of Reggio Calabria, the Calabria Region, and the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria.
