Reggio Calabria Mayor Cannizzaro responds to Vannacci during rally

During a political rally in Reggio Calabria for Fabio Roscioli, the mayor of Reggio Calabria, Francesco Cannizzaro, responded to criticisms from Roberto Vannacci with a verbal outburst. Cannizzaro used the phrase “Curnutu si tu e cu nun t’u dice” (You are the cuckold and those who don't tell you) to address Vannacci.

The confrontation follows attacks by Vannacci, leader of Futuro Nazionale, who accused Cannizzaro of promising political positions. Vannacci characterized the upcoming supplementary elections as a critical moment for the region, criticizing the local political system and accusing leaders of importing political figures from other regions to maintain power.

The election will determine a replacement for the current mayor, with candidates including Fabio Roscioli for Forza Italia, Frank Benedetto for the center-left, and Domenico Giannetta representing Futuro Nazionale.
