Reggio Calabria sports clubs launch creative and financial initiatives

In Reggio Calabria, the Vumbaca Reggio BiC basketball club has launched the ‘Sinapsi 91.16’ project to commemorate its tenth anniversary. Coordinated by Professor Paolo Genoese, the initiative involves sixteen local designers who have created the club’s uniforms for the 2026/2027 season. The project aims to use design to express the city's identity and connect sports with local creativity.

Meanwhile, in Reggio Emilia, sponsors of the Reggiana football club are attempting to provide financial relief to the organization. A group of approximately twelve sponsors intends to form a limited liability company (Srl) to issue a bond worth approximately 1.5 million euros. This interest-free loan is intended to provide liquidity to the club following the December 16 payment deadline, though officials note that additional capital will be required to stabilize the club for the remainder of the season.
