Reggio Emilia Carabinieri to move to new headquarters

The Prefect of Reggio Emilia, Salvatore Angieri, has signed a lease agreement for the new headquarters of the Carabinieri Provincial Command. The new facility will be located in the former Bank of Italy building.

Managed by Penta Investments S. r. l., the relocation is intended to address critical space shortages in the current command. The move will significantly increase the workspace per employee from approximately 4 square meters to nearly 18 square meters. The new site will also include 30 covered parking spaces.

The project is fully funded by the Ministry of the Interior and is the result of collaboration between the Ministry, the Prefecture, the State Property Agency, the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, and the Carabinieri General Command. The new location is expected to improve operational functionality and enhance territorial presence and public security in a strategic area of the city.
