Reggio Emilia fuel card fraud results in three arrests

In Reggio Emilia, Italy, thieves stole two company fuel cards from a van parked in a resident's courtyard. On 26 May they used the cards at a self‑service pump on via Regina Margherita, completing two diesel purchases that together cost about €160.

The Carabinieri of the Albinea station traced the transactions and reviewed surveillance footage, identifying three men aged 41, 68 and 74, all residents of Reggio Emilia. They have been charged with aggravated receipt of stolen property and illegal use of electronic payment instruments.
