Reggio Emilia launches 21st Mental Health Week

The 21st edition of Mental Health Week in Reggio Emilia is scheduled to begin on September 27, 2026. Organized by the Azienda Usl IRCCS di Reggio Emilia in collaboration with various entities and associations, this year’s theme is ‘Generations (Generating actions).‘

The event aims to foster community well-being and provide a space for discussing delicate mental health topics, sharing experiences, and addressing the needs of those experiencing psychological distress. The program includes conferences, testimonies, shows, and games.

On the opening Sunday, September 27, events will take place at the Museum of the History of Psychiatry at Campus San Lazzaro. The schedule includes an inauguration followed by the opening of the photographic exhibition ‘Manicomi Italici.’ This exhibition, curated by Cesare Pomarici and featuring photographers Silvia Camporesi and Luca Marianaccio, will remain on display until January 6, 2027.
