RegHub platform conference held in Dubrovnik

The RegHub platform, a collaborative project between the European Commission and the Committee of the Regions, held a conference in Dubrovnik to review the impact of previous consultations on European policy shaping. The platform serves as a network of 46 local and regional centers across 21 member states, designed to monitor how EU legislation affects local levels and to ensure regional needs are considered during policy formulation.

Key presentations addressed significant consultations regarding the Water Framework Directive, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and public procurement. The conference also focused on future activities, including the presentation of the RegHub work program for 2027 and methods to improve the implementation of European legislation.

Participants included Nikola Dobroslavić, President of the County Assembly and member of the Committee of the Regions, and Reinhold Gnan, Director of the Committee of the Regions' Economic Policy Committee. The event concluded with a discussion featuring Maria Cruz Ferreira Costa, the Director General for the European Union in the Spanish region of Murcia.
