Regina 2028 Organizing Committee signs agreement with FJCF

The Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française (FJCF) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Organizing Committee for the 9th edition of the Jeux de la francophonie canadienne, to be held in Regina in 2028.

This agreement formalizes a collaborative effort that began with Regina’s candidacy in 2024 and is expected to continue through the conclusion of activities in 2029. Alongside the signing, the Organizing Committee unveiled the official brand identity for Regina 2028. The logo incorporates regional symbols, including a red fleur-de-lys representing the Fransaskois community, a golden wheat ear, and a stylized gold feather honoring Saskatchewan’s First Nations. Additionally, the number ‘8’ in 2028 is designed as a Métis infinity symbol to represent the culture and resilience of the local people.
