Reginald Wilson arrested for allegedly poisoning disabled patient with bleach

Reginald Wilson, 30, has been arrested in Lake Charles, Louisiana, after allegedly pouring bleach into a water bottle intended for his patient, Marshal Huntsberry. Huntsberry, a 48-year-old man with physical and mental disabilities, noticed the chemical taste after drinking from the bottle and alerted his family.

Following a confrontation in which Wilson reportedly admitted to the act, the Heaven on Earth Home Health Agency removed him from the property. The Lake Charles Police Department subsequently located and arrested Wilson. He faces charges of aggravated battery, cruelty to the infirm, and mingling of harmful substances, and has been booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.

In a social media statement, Heaven on Earth Network Inc. expressed sadness regarding the incident, stating that the client’s health and safety is their top priority and that abuse is not tolerated. The agency reported that they immediately removed the worker and transported the client to an emergency room for evaluation while cooperating with local and state authorities.
