Regine Velasquez performs ‘Finale’ concert in Manila

Singer Regine Velasquez-Alcasid performed her ‘Finale’ concert series at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, marking a significant moment in her career as she performed several hits she has decided to retire from her repertoire. During the event, Velasquez expressed that performing has been a constant in her life since age 17, noting that retiring certain songs feels like saying goodbye to a part of herself.

Her husband, Ogie Alcasid, joined her on stage for a duet and praised her as the Philippines’ ‘greatest singer.’ The concert featured various guest performers, including Jose Mari Chan, Mikee Cojuangco, and Donna Cruz. Additionally, singer Moira dela Torre attended the third day of the concert, where she was seen sharing an emotional moment and a hug with Velasquez.

Other participants in the production included Velasquez’s son, Nate, the family band Meet Me at the Elevator, and the group DNA.
