Região dos Lagos coordinates joint tourism promotion for ABAV 2027

Municipalities in the Região dos Lagos, including Rio das Ostras, are coordinating a joint tourism promotion strategy. During a meeting in Cabo Frio, officials discussed international cooperation and ways to convert tourist interest into actual travel to the region.

A key component of this initiative is a joint presence at the ABAV Expo 2027 in Rio de Janeiro, where the region has already reserved a 75-square-meter institutional stand. A technical group will be formed to organize this regional presence, which will also utilize segmented media and digital tools.

International expansion efforts include exploring new flight connections with Salta, Argentina, and initiatives to attract the Panamanian market. The group also emphasized the use of statistical data to monitor demand and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
