Regional activities in Switzerland and Interlaken

The Aktivverein 55+ Oberwil group recently completed a four-day excursion to the Lake Geneva region. Organized by Born Reisen, the trip included visits to Gstaad, Montreux, and Vevey. Highlights included a panoramic train ride on the Goldenpass, a wine tasting at Chateau Vinzel, and a cogwheel train journey on Rochers-de-Naye, which offered views of Mont Blanc and Chillon Castle.

Separately, a cycling team participated in races in Interlaken under summer weather conditions. Following a divisioning process to ensure balanced competition, athletes competed in various categories. Mathias Mislik secured first place in Division 1 (7000 m), while Sarah Heli took second place in Division 4 (820 m). Despite challenging headwinds, the team reported successful results and strong group cohesion.
